For this week’s activity, I wasn’t able to go all the way to Venice, so I did my graffiti writing on a wood board in my mom’s backyard. I went to War-Mart and picked up a few cans and took a seat on the grass and started painting. At first, the smell of the spray paint was a little too much for me to handle. The wind was blowing extra strong that day, so I was scared that the paint would get on the turf in my backyard and my mom would yell at me. Luckily, we had some mailing paper laying around to save the turf form turning different colors. The end product wasn’t very nice to be honest because its very hard to see what it says, but I promise that it says ‘Alicia’.
Overall, my experience was pretty fun. It was a beautiful day outside and I got to hang out with my family while I was painting. I wish that I was able to actually do graffiti on a wall, but I have a lot of paint left, so hopefully I get a chance to do that soon.
